The Challenge of a Lockdown Exhibition

Organising a major exhibition is a challenge for any gallery but Rountree Tryon has had to enter unknown territory with its current programme of events, including the forthcoming South Downs National Park showcase at Petworth.

Gordon Rushmer’s collection of works to mark the tenth anniversary of England’s newest National Park will be held under coronavirus lockdown measures.

Guests to the private view, book launch and general exhibition, which runs from the 12th to the 25th September, will be able to adhere to social distancing whilst still viewing the paintings.

Gordon is represented by Rountree Tryon Galleries which has the distinction of being one of the few art galleries to be awarded a Royal Warrant in recognition of 60 years of showing the best of marine, wildlife and landscape paintings.
