Window on the Weald
The Weald sits unassumingly between the high-profile South Downs National Park and The North Downs Way, a designated 153-mile National Trail, in the south of England.
Unlike its better-known neighbours, the Weald has changed slowly but over the last half century its framework of life has inevitably given way to more modern practices.
“Window on The Weald” captures in stories and paintings some of the past and present-day activities and characters that make this 1,000 square mile natural wonder a haven for poets, writers and artists.
